Micalizzi is a passionate advocate for community engagement and creative problem solving. She approaches each of her endeavors with a determination to educate, inspire, and create growth.
As a true polypreneur, Micalizzi has experience in a wide range of areas business consultation and coaching, marketing, health and fitness, creative entrepreneurship, philanthropy, visual journalism/social practice art, project management, communications, public and community relations, sales, and business development.
Growing up in a family business, Micalizzi has owned and operated several businesses of her own, including Micalizzi Enterprises, Me2 Media Design & Marketing, and The Red Clover Salon. She has also worked with both large corporations like Edward Jones Investments, Go Daddy, IDX Systems Software, and Revlon, and small family businesses.
Micalizzi is an expert in building, marketing, and selling award-winning programs, business products, and concepts. She has a proven track record of success as both an intrapreneur and entrepreneur, driving growth and profitability for businesses of all sizes. With her extensive financial advisement experience, she is able to connect marketing and growth activity to investor interest.
Micalizzi is also a certified personal trainer, registered yoga teacher, and health coach with over 30 years of experience. She is particularly skilled at coaching fitness professionals to take their business to the next level.
As a skilled speaker and presenter, Micalizzi excels at establishing rapport with individuals and audiences alike. Her passion for fitness and health makes her a credible presence for health-related businesses.
Micalizzi is a lifelong philanthropist and has received recognition for her work, including the Vermont Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness & Sports Worksite Wellness Gold Rising Star Award in 2003 and 2004, and a nomination for the Chittenden County United Way’s “Hometown Hero” Award in 2009. She was also recognized by the Know Tribe from 2017 to 2020 and was the runner-up for the Arizona Leukemia Lymphoma Society’s 2021 Women of the Year and received the Mission Integration Award. Micalizzi supports the Leukemia Lymphoma Society in the hopes of one day curing blood cancer in honor of her father.
Micalizzi currently resides and works in Sun City, Arizona, but she returns to her home state of Vermont as often as possible to visit her mother, who lives in Essex Junction.
